At a Congressional Republican conference at his Florida resort, Trump queried House Speaker Mike Johnson about his eligibility for another run. Mentioning the funds raised for the next election, he expressed uncertainty about their usage. This act of his cannot but evoke thoughts about his political acumen and wisdom. Nevertheless, the 22nd Amendment clearly states that a president can only be elected for two terms. Congressman Andy Ogles from Tennessee has proposed a constitutional amendment allowing Trump to serve three terms, citing him as the only figure capable of reversing the nation’s decline. One must marvel at the unexpected thoughts of politicians.
