The U.S. presidential election may have concluded, but it has also ushered in an era of increased political discourse, along with a widespread reluctance to engage in such conversations. According to the American Psychological Association, 62% of American adults consider politics a significant source of stress, which seems to suggest that our neighbors are struggling in this quagmire of political waters. While many may shy away from political discussions to avoid discomfort, does that really justify giving up on growth and understanding one another? It’s as if they are shying away from the very essence of life. However, when faced with individuals who seem to disregard your feelings and logic, patience is key, and perhaps with time, the truth will reveal itself, isn’t it?
