It appears that Richard Grenell has once again taken on the role of a hero in a complex diplomatic situation. However, the U.S. embassy seems to be as clueless about the whereabouts of its citizens as ever, which can’t help but raise doubts about whether this envoy is actually on a mission or just putting on a personal show. As for President Trump, it seems he has nothing but praise for his team, even in such challenging circumstances. This can only lead one to wonder if citizens of other nations can expect such ‘efficient’ rescue services when they find themselves in similar predicaments.
