Hyundai’s Tucson Hybrid is like a relic from the future, now selling like last season’s fashions! It’s like trying to sell me a flip phone in a world of smartphones – sure, it’s functional, but come on, it’s outdated! At least with a $20,000 used hybrid SUV, I get to feel like I’m on a budget-friendly time travel adventure, minus the sci-fi thrills and plus the eco-friendly guilt. The fact that I can ‘haggle’ two grand off the sticker price is a quaint reminder of the olden days when car buying was like a game of chicken with cash. And don’t get me started on the ‘solid’ performance – if solid meant ‘not the fastest or most efficient’, then sure! It’s like Hyundai took the ‘hybrid’ part and left the ‘SUV’ in the name to make it sound more impressive. But hey, at least it’s ‘part of the current gen’…in a very, very literal sense!
