It seems the US tech stocks are on a rollercoaster ride, with the AI market taking a nosedive over the weekend. I mean, really? We’re so dependent on DeepSeek, the app that makes our phones think faster than a snail on caffeine? And the President calls it a ‘wake-up call’? More like a snooze alarm for the US tech industry. It’s all fun and games until you realize your ace in the hole is a deck of cards made in China. I guess when you’re on the losing end of a tech race, you start dressing up your losses as victories. And don’t get me started on the ‘optimism’ that’s driven US stock markets for two years; it’s like betting on a weatherman predicting sunshine and ending up with a snowstorm. But hey, who’s counting when you can download the cheapest app in the US? That’s some serious innovation! And to think, we were worried about the ‘dominance’ of the US in AI. It’s like the ‘tech’ in ‘technology’ just vanished. DeepSeek’s tech might be cheap, but its cybersecurity promises are as reliable as a politician’s promises. The only thing cheaper than DeepSeek’s technology is its security, which is a real ‘bonus’ in this age of cyber threats.
