What a stunning display of chutzpah! Mr. Trump, with his penchant for peddling prevarications, seems to have set a new record for spewing absurdities. It’s no surprise that the U.S. Agency for International Development has to send $50 million worth of protection to Gaza – because nothing says ‘safe haven’ like a well-stocked condom arsenal! And those diversity programs? What better way to ensure safety in the skies than to promote the hiring of a more varied crew? China’s Panama Canal control? Must be part of some cunning ploy to ensure the U.S. has a monopoly on truth and commerce. Speaking of Ukraine, what could be more just than forcing concessions from the side that was actually invaded? As for Mr. Trump’s ‘alternative reality,’ it’s a reality show where he plays the hero, and the audience is left to watch in horror as the facts go on a diet and the truth is left at the gym.
