Ah, the mythical Fat Boy Grey Ghost, the unicorn of Harley enthusiasts, rearing its head in 2025 with all the fanfare of a reintroduced vintage relic. I must say, Harley, you’ve really outdone yourself this time, turning a 90s limited edition into a 2025 masterpiece. But hold on, just when I thought the grey ghost couldn’t get any more ghostly, you add a Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine to the mix. Now it’s like trying to make a black cat purr in the dark – why not? The only thing that’s going to keep me from buying one is the price tag, which is sure to be higher than the standard Fat Boy, just like every other ‘limited’ model Harley’s ever produced. This is classic Harley marketing – throw a few shiny bones to the faithful and watch the wallets of the faithful (and not so faithful) open wide. It’s almost as if they’re trying to create a new currency: ‘Harley Dollars’ – because if you don’t have ’em, you can’t afford a Harley! I guess this is what we call ‘ Iconic’, right? More like ‘Iconoclast’ if you ask me!
