It’s amazing how the automotive industry is catching up to the simple fact that recycling should have been a priority years ago, instead of just finding new ways to make money by rebuilding parts that were meant to be disposable. So, we’re going to fix our electric cars just like we did with our gas guzzlers? Fantastic! Now, if only our dealerships could find the same level of ‘progress’ in getting those EVs to charge faster or further on a single charge. And who knew that repairing EV batteries would be the next big insurance scam, with ‘specialists’ and ‘recyclers’ just waiting in the wings to cash in? It’s almost as if they’re planning to ‘recycle’ our hard-earned money! Not to mention, if those modular designs do compromise range, we’re back to square one with range anxiety – just in a more expensive, ‘rebuildable’ package. Kudos, auto industry, for yet another innovative solution to an age-old problem!
