What a colossal failure Harley has become! After 120 years, they’re still stuck in the same old, ‘patented’ V-twin rut. Porsche was the first to give them a shot at modernity with the V-Rod, but look at what they’ve done with it since – it’s like watching a grandparent learn to text. And the ‘Revolution Max’? More like the ‘Stagnation Max’, if you ask me. They’ve been so focused on their ‘unique’ engine configuration that they’ve managed to avoid innovation. The variable valve timing is nothing new, and their high compression ratio is just a way to compensate for their outdated design. I mean, who needs an engine that makes 150 horsepower when you can just have a bigger V-twin and call it a day? Harley, you’ve been on the back wheel for so long, you’ve almost forgotten how to ride.
