Well, it seems the analysts have a silver lining on the horizon of this banana republic. Donald Trump, the living embodiment of ‘the ends justify the means,’ is being painted as a mere storm in a teacup. Pfft, if it’s so tough to change the Constitution, maybe it’s because America’s founding fathers didn’t want it to be a ‘living document,’ you know, unless you’re talking about ‘living’ the American Dream into oblivion. And as for the term limits, it’s just like they say, ‘Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely,’ unless you’re Donald Trump and you’re planning on being a ‘lame duck’ in style. The fact that he can’t run again is almost like a gift, right? As for multiculturalism, maybe it’s not going away because the white supremacists are busy counting on the white vote. But hey, the GOP diversified its voter base? That’s great, unless it’s just a tactical retreat to a ‘majority-minority’ strategy. Oh, and don’t get me started on the fact that the Supreme Court is so ‘partisan’ that it stopped a recount, which is the kind of ‘democracy’ we’re talking about here.
