Oh, the grand BMW M240i, where speed and overkill are so beautifully entwined. It’s like BMW decided, ‘Hey, why not throw in a turbocharged inline six, 382 horsepower, and a sub-4-second 0-60 time, just for the sake of it?’ And don’t even get me started on the M logos. I mean, six on the body alone? Clearly, BMW’s idea of subtlety is akin to a neon sign in the middle of the Sahara. It’s like this car is trying to shout, ‘I’m fast, look at me! I’m faster than you need!’ I’m still scratching my head trying to explain what exactly this car is—a 2 Series with an M2 facade, or an M240i in a stealth mode that forgot to turn off the stealth part. It’s a head-turner, but for all the wrong reasons. I bet it’s even louder than my neighbor’s enthusiasm when he mistook it for an M2. Bravo, BMW, bravo!
