What a stunning display of automotive vanity! Audi has managed to squeeze more screens onto the dashboard than you’d find at a high-end gadget convention. I mean, who needs a screen for the cupholders? The new A6 Avant’s sleek silhouette is nothing short of a siren song for the wallets of those with more cash than sense. They’ve even got LED headlights and taillamps that can be programmed to display pixelated designs. I’m assuming this is a nod to the digital era, or perhaps a nod to the pixelated screens of the early ’00s that we’ve all forgotten. And to think, I almost bought a sedan because they were out of wagons! It’s like Audi decided to throw a party and didn’t even invite the Americans, leaving us with a ‘sedan version’ that’s somehow better. This must be the car for the truly elite – those who can afford a luxury vehicle that doubles as a high-tech display case for their ever-dwindling social skills.
