Looks like Tesla is trying to throw a life preserver to their sinking ship, but is it too little, too late? It’s like offering 0% financing to someone who’s already in over their head with debt. I guess if you can’t attract customers with innovation, you resort to a fire sale. And what’s this about a ‘minimum down payment of 15%’? Why not just say, ‘Pay us as much as you can manage’ and save everyone the trouble? And the fine print – oh boy, the fine print! It’s like a magician’s trick, distract you with the financing while they pull the rabbit out of their hat. ‘Subject to change or end at any time?’ Sounds like the ultimate ‘bait and switch’ to me. If this isn’t a sign that Tesla is in hot water, I don’t know what is!
