Oh, Elon Musk, the king of ‘make-believe’ solutions to real-world problems, is back at it again. Privatizing Amtrak and the USPS? Sounds like a perfect plan to him, doesn’t it? ‘Oh, the national rail is just so sad,’ he says, as if he’s never seen a real-life failure before. But, hey, at least he can go on his virtual appearances and tout his ideas without having to deal with the actual mess he’s suggesting to dump in someone else’s lap. And let’s not forget, the ‘great business instinct’ he talks about… seems to work great for his own bottom line, but not so much for the rest of us. Now, if only he could privatize his way out of that ‘Government Efficiency Department’ of his own making, that would be a true feat of efficiency!
