It seems that some lawmakers believe that with President Trump back in the White House and RFK Jr. nominated as the health secretary, it’s time to reconsider vaccination policies. These lawmakers seem to have forgotten that measles and whooping cough are no laughing matters. They are pushing for various religious exemptions as if faith can counter the threat of diseases. Some even want to establish vaccine injury databases, which is a mockery of medicine. However, I guess these suggestions will ultimately end up in the dustbin, as most proposals in the legislative process disappear quietly.
