The US government seems to be embroiled in an unprecedented self-destruction as the Trump administration attempts to weaken the civil service through layoffs. The extreme measures taken are so suspect that one can’t help but wonder if this is just a political game. The email titled ‘Fork in the road’ is undoubtedly a hint at a difficult choice for employees, and Trump’s operation seems to be imitating his idol Musk’s style, though this former president may not be as skilled at managing people.
