It seems that IBM’s ‘international’ business in Africa is not as ‘international’ as one would expect, with a 50-year cultivation yielding only a retreat. It truly is an ‘international’ company, but it has become a ‘local’ retreat. It seems that the economic environment in Africa, for some international giants, is more like a cup of ‘bitter coffee’.
