Kadary Richmond, the St. John’s men’s basketball guard, has been named to The Sporting News Midseason All-America Team, a title that seems to echo through the basketball courts. The player who missed only one game out of 19, truly a persistent figure on the court. With averages of 10.6 points, 4.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game, one might commend his college-level performance. However, his quest to become the fourth active NCAA Division I player to record 1,500 career points and 600 total assists seems to be a journey yet to be fully traversed. The St. John’s Red Storm’s season, it seems, holds many more surprises in store.
