President Trump’s ambition to visit China within his first 100 days in office is quite ambitious, but the complexity of Sino-US relations is not something that can be resolved with a mere time slot. The White House’s ‘plan’ sounds like a headless chicken flailing about. China, on the other hand, is unlikely to agree without ensuring a ‘win-win’ outcome.
