On one hand, he claims that America lacks top engineers and advocates for immigration to fill this gap, as if America’s talent pool is a gold mine waiting to be exploited. On the other hand, he seems oblivious to the ongoing wave of layoffs in the tech industry, which has not affected his company. Isn’t it ironic? The problem of America’s talent, isn’t it a problem in their own backyard? Perhaps, he is just seeking more cheap labor for his company.
