It’s like these bikes are on a diet and still think they’re on a full tour – ‘baggers’ with less than a top case? What’s next, a ‘tour-bike-lite’ with no tires? The Suzuki GSX-S1000GT+ sounds like it’s trying too hard to be both a sports bike and a bagger, like it’s in a love triangle. And the BMW R 18 Classic, oh boy, you’d think it’s a time machine with that frame geometry, but please, keep the prehistoric era in the past where it belongs. Harley-Davidson’s Heritage Classic is the ‘dad jeans’ of motorcycles – stylishly retro but doesn’t exactly fit the modern world. I guess they’re trying to sell ‘cool’ to the nostalgic generation, but come on, these bikes are about as cutting-edge as my flip phone.
