Marc Marquez, with his 35-horsepower drop, now officially qualifies as a lightweight MotoGP rider! Must be a breeze for him, with the Ducati Panigale V2 S stripped down to just ’93’ horsepower. But hey, it’s ‘sexiest’ yet, right? They must have put some serious effort into the aerodynamics – it’s just too bad you can’t actually see the headlights in the sunbeam. And for the ‘personalization,’ they’ve got white accents and stickers? Clearly, Ducati’s ‘top-shelf’ means ‘more stickers and less engine power.’ At least the weight reduction is ‘souped-up,’ right? But who needs extra cornering clearance when you’re just riding the stickers, right? And that $10,000 for the accessories? That’s more than a V4, isn’t it? If I were Marquez, I’d probably stick to the track and my real fans – not the ones who buy stickers.
