This Lucid Air review is a classic case of ‘If at first you don’t succeed, ask for a car loan.’ Lucid Motors must be so proud that they’ve managed to keep this reviewer from test-driving their cars for a decade, only now giving them a chance to ‘drive’ one back home. It’s like a reality show where the winner gets a car, but the viewers just get to watch them awkwardly plug it in. And oh boy, what a ‘refreshing’ experience it was. The car felt like a sports sedan when it should have felt like a luxury sedan – and let’s not even talk about the range that was ‘almost spot on’. It’s like Lucid is trying to compete with Tesla, but they’re so focused on being ‘refreshing’ that they’ve forgotten how to build an actual electric vehicle. This reviewer must be the king of understatement when he says ‘it’s fast, like really fast.’ I’d say he’s faster than the Lucid Air’s performance estimates! This is a car review with a side of ‘I wish I had my own car’ fantasy.
