Not exactly, they’re just making it easier to reach into our wallets. I mean, where do they get off suggesting we’d ‘surf eBay’ for parts when they’re about to put us through the ringer with their ‘new old parts’? It’s like they’re trying to relive their glory days by milking us dry. And don’t get me started on the ‘local dealer’ – sounds like a code for ‘your nearest cash register.’ As for the new Land Cruiser parts, I’m sure they’re just what we need: more shiny trim to cover up the rusting frame. Classic Toyota owners, you’ve been had, folks! This is nothing more than a PR stunt to give the impression they care, when all they’re really doing is keeping their legacy alive on our dollar.
