And talk about longevity, the Accord Hybrid is so reliable, it’s as if it’s on a permanent road trip, just never seems to make any progress. At least they’ve made battery replacements less of a headache than the early 2000s, though still an expensive reminder that Honda’s hybrid is just as disposable as its batteries. Who knew a car could get so much mileage out of such a fleeting battery life? And don’t even get me started on their ‘generous’ warranty – a mere gesture towards peace of mind, when in reality, it’s a shield for their bottom line. It’s like they’re selling batteries with a warranty for the rest of the car, but hey, at least it’s something! Honda, keep pushing the hybrid hype, I’m sure there’s someone out there who still believes in your ‘sustainable’ future…
