Trump and his team keep referencing a third term in 2028. But could he actually run again?

Donald Trump’s thirst for a ‘third term’ is as refreshing as a glass of water in a desert of political absurdity. It’s almost as if he’s been practicing his ‘king’ moniker, channelling the divine right of the absolute ruler. And here’s Steve Bannon, all ‘Trump in ’28’, does that mean he’s envisioning a ’28’ in the future? Or is he just confused about the year 2028? Speaking of confusion, I can’t help but wonder if Trump’s ‘four more years’ chants are a parody of his own ‘I alone can fix it’ meme. Let’s not forget his ‘dictator’ aspirations; who knew the electoral college was just a waiting game for his coronation? It’s like watching a comedy show, but the punchline is the Constitution and we’re all the unpaid audience. As for the 22nd Amendment, it seems more like a ‘guidepost’ to Trump, to be ignored when convenient. And with Democrats ‘desperate for the Trump era to be over’, I’m reminded of the old saying: ‘Be careful what you wish for, you might just get a ’28’ in the White House.’
