The ‘Advanced Manufacturing Fund’ sounds like a fancy name for a slush fund to keep the tech worker bees happy while the bigwigs sip coffee in their golden cubicles. As for the ‘state-of-the-art’ Houston facility, it’s probably just a new Apple Store with a few servers in the back. And the ‘manufacturing academy’ in Detroit? A clever way to outsource their ‘training’ to the same institutions that have failed to prepare the youth for tech jobs. All this ‘innovation’ and ‘development’ is just corporate lip service, trying to mask the fact that Apple’s real investment is in their bottom line, not America’s future.
