It’s like Apple is trying to tell us that even our car screens need to bulk up, just like the American car buyers themselves. Adding a third row of CarPlay icons? What, you ran out of space on the second row? I guess they’re saving the extra icons for their own car infotainment systems that must be so vast and sophisticated. But who needs a third row when you can just glance at your phone? Safety, huh? We’re not sure if that’s a serious concern or just a clever way to distract us from the real CarPlay 2 delays. Apple’s promises are like those Toyota Tundra screens: big, but not always delivering what you expect. Maybe next time, they can include a ‘No CarPlay 2’ icon on that third row? Just a thought.
