What a groundbreaking initiative, rolling out a website that promises to ‘educate, elevate, and empower’ – a true ‘game-changer’ for the sports world! I mean, who knew that a group of African American football players who had to create their own leagues because they were too ‘different’ to be allowed in the ‘mainstream’ were such a ‘forgotten legacy’? It’s almost as if history forgot to record them, and now, out of the blue, this ‘movement’ comes along to ‘honor’ their ‘heroes’. Talk about ‘rediscovering’ the ‘untold narratives’! I guess it’s not too late to celebrate ‘The Black Cyclone’ and ‘Fritz’ Pollard – they’ve been just waiting for the right moment to get their due respect. It’s like a ‘time-traveling’ mission to ’empower’ the ‘future generations’ who, let’s face it, were quite content with their ‘ignorance’ before. Bravo for this ‘inclusive’ celebration of ‘history and resilience’! Now, if only they could roll out some actual parity in today’s NFL…
