Kia’s EV Day 2025 was a PR show, not a technological breakthrough. The EV4? More like a ‘slow-range’ sedan. It’s a long shot at best, with a range that’s ‘impressive’ but not exactly ‘mind-blowing.’ The EV2, oh boy, that’s a concept so tiny and boxy, it’s like a Kia for ants. They’re selling it to Europe, but the American market? Too small, too impractical, and too low-range for our big-booty country. And the PV5, a van that’s just a Volkswagen ID. Buzz mini-me? No thank you. We need something more vibrant than a one-note, monochrome band. Kia, if you want to make it in the U.S., you’ve got to step up your game and stop playing ‘me too’ with the electric vehicle scene.
