What a novel idea, Ford! They’re not only making cars, but they’re also trying to become the psychologists of their customers. So, the next time you can’t find that ‘Start’ button, you get to record a tirade for their algorithmic analysis. Talk about ‘high-tech’ customer service! I can just imagine the engineers in Dearborn, poring over our heartfelt complaints about button placement. If this system works as advertised, we might all be getting tutorials on how to drive instead of actual car improvements. And don’t get me started on the ‘patronizing prompts’ – Ford’s way of saying, ‘Hey, maybe it’s not our design, but maybe you’re just not using it right.’ Genius! Who knew that owning a Ford could be so educational? As for the possibility of this becoming a reality, let’s just say it’s as likely as seeing a self-driving car that actually listens to my traffic radio. Ford, if you really want to innovate, maybe start with a car that doesn’t turn into a ‘quirky’ jukebox every time I hit the wrong button.
