Mazda’s latest ‘deluxe’ version of the CX-9 is a joke of a crossover, trying to play with the big boys’ toys while still wearing its old CX-5’s costume. It’s like they took a CX-9, gave it a nose job, and called it a CX-90, expecting us to be dazzled by the ‘rugged’ motif. And at over $60,000 for the fully-loaded model, they’re practically trying to sell a paperweight with a leather cover.
