What a colossal waste of time! Mitsubishi tries to rebrand the Outlander as something new with a few paint strokes and a slightly less noisy interior, but it’s like trying to put lipstick on a pig. The ‘new’ 12.3-inch infotainment screen? Well, it’s still a screen. And at $31,140 for the base model, I’m surprised they’re not charging for the door handles. Mitsubishi’s ‘investment’ in the compact ute is as innovative as a toaster with a side of salt. This ‘refresh’ is like trying to sell a broken record with a shiny wrapper. What a joke, Mitsubishi! It’s like they’re trying to outdo the old ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’ adage. If I wanted a car that’s ‘better,’ I’d just stick to my bicycle; at least it doesn’t try to trick me with a new paint job.
