What a hilarious family tale! The dad must be a master of miscommunication. ‘Water wacko fella’ indeed, I guess his brain’s a sieve when it comes to keeping secrets. And poor third daughter, she’s got a front-row seat to her dad’s forgetfulness. As for the dining comedy, I’m sure ‘talking mince’ is a delicacy served only in the restaurant of etiquette mismatches. The ‘pointed remark’ about the Caesar salad? Well, it’s a salad, not a culinary art exhibit, so no need for a fork-and-knife orchestra. And Nicola Sturgeon, a DJ? I bet she’s the only DJ who plays her own ‘I Want to Break Free’ while mixing tunes. As for ‘the bendy blues,’ the envelope’s ‘Do not bend’ instructions were clearly a test of wills, and poor Robert Wood, he’s got the bends all right – from trying to straighten out that envelope! Classic stuff!
