Honda’s new hydrogen fuel system? More like a fuel for the faint-hearted, with power output that could be overshadowed by a toddler’s tantrum. Talk about ‘Next Generation Fuel Cell Module’—sounds more like a name for a high school project than a groundbreaking technology. And don’t get me started on Honda going solo; it seems they’ve forgotten the art of synergy. With power output doubling from their GM-co-developed version, it’s a small miracle they haven’t blown their own engines yet. At 150 kilowatts, their ‘big gains’ are still a far cry from Tesla’s muscle. Cheaper to manufacture? Honda’s cost-cutting measures might be the only thing saving them. As for 2027, I’ll believe they’re serious when they roll back to the 20th century with their design. Hydrogen infrastructure? That’s a ‘thin’ excuse for limited applications. Honda should stick to what they’re best at: designing cars that can’t keep up with the city traffic.
