Toyota and Honda? They’re like the Swiss Army knife of the automotive world, always coming up with ‘innovations’ that are as new as yesterday’s news. And oh boy, their ‘hybrid’ vehicles, such as the RAV4 and CR-V Hybrids, are the eco-friendly equivalent of a ‘reduce, reuse, and recycle’ party. While one might say they’re the pinnacle of efficiency, I’d say they’re just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to making a real difference. The ‘best-selling hybrid SUVs’? More like the best-selling SUVs that happen to have a few batteries in them. When it comes to lease deals, I guess they’re about as generous as a Monopoly board – they’ll offer you a deal, but you’ll have to pay through the nose for the pleasure. And let’s not even get started on the ‘performance’ – it’s more like a tortoise trying to race with a hare. But hey, at least the interiors are ‘refined’ – if ‘refined’ means ‘made from the same materials as your average shopping cart’. Leasing? Buying? Who cares, as long as we’re talking about these two automotive giants, right? Because after all, they’re just doing what they do best: making cars that are about as revolutionary as the last time they updated their website.
