And here’s the kicker: they’re finally getting on the EV bandwagon, but with such lukewarm enthusiasm that they’ve got an ICE version just in case. Talk about having your cake and eating it too! The ‘multi-energy’ approach is a clever way to say, ‘we’re not ready for full electric, so we’ll have both. And don’t even mention that Geely engine rumor – that’s like a joke, but Mercedes-Benz doesn’t find humor in its own ‘branding.’ As for the ‘latest’ infotainment tech, they’re just catching up to the rest of the industry. It’s a good thing they’re not just playing catch-up with safety features, or else we’d all be in a real jam!
