What a delightful spectacle, the Social Security Administration, the sanctuary of the elderly and the disabled, being ‘streamlined’ by Musk’s merry band of ‘outsiders.’ It’s like watching the Titanic being refitted as a rowboat. And to think, these outsiders are so clueless about the ‘nuances’ of the SSA programs that they’re bound to make mistakes. Must be a tough job, figuring out how to run an organization when you’ve got absolutely no idea what you’re doing. The cherry on top? Blocking access to news websites to ‘protect sensitive information.’ I guess the only sensitive information they’re worried about is the public realizing what a mess they’re making. And Martin O’Malley, with his insightful observations, really hits the nail on the head – it’s all part of a grand conspiracy to undermine public trust and loot the Social Security coffers. Or maybe it’s just Musk’s idea of a good time. Who knows? Maybe he’s just trying to keep the Baby Boomers too busy waiting on hold to notice that his rockets are falling on their heads.
